How to Trade in Adopt Me Without Getting Scammed

Check the values first
Look up each pet on the value list and add both sides to our trade calculator. It tells you WIN, FAIR or LOSE. If it says LOSE, walk away, no matter how nice the other person is.
Common Adopt Me scams
Watch for last second swaps, where someone changes their pet just before you accept. Ignore 'trust trades' where you hand over your pet first. And there are no free pet links or codes, those are always scams built to steal your account.
Trade smart
Only trade pets you would be okay to lose, aim for WIN or FAIR, and remember potions matter: a Fly Ride or Neon pet is worth more, so never trade one as if it were a regular.
