How our values work
Our values are community-consensus estimates, our best read of what the trading community agrees an item is worth right now. They are not official prices, because most of these games don't have official prices at all.
Where our values come from
We watch how people actually trade. That means reading the game's trading Discords, looking at real trades people make, and comparing a bunch of community value lists. Then a real person (not a robot) picks a sensible number that most traders would agree with, and we double-check it before it goes live.
How often they update
We change a value when the market really moves, usually after a game update or when lots of people start trading an item differently. Every change is written down with a date on our Updates page, so you can always see what changed and when. We never quietly edit a number.
Why values are different on other sites
There is no single "correct" value, so different sites will always disagree a little. Each one watches different traders and updates at different times, and values shift every day. If two sites show different numbers, the fair price is usually somewhere in the middle. That's normal, it's why we call them estimates.
Estimates, not official prices
Think of our values like a price guide, not a price tag. A trade is only "fair" if both people are happy with it. Use our values and the trade calculator to avoid obviously bad trades, then trust your own judgement for the rest. And remember: never trade anything you'd be upset to lose.
FAQ
Are these the real prices?
No. Most of these games have no official prices at all. Our values are community estimates, our best guess at what traders agree something is worth right now. Always treat them as a guide, not a rule.
Why is your value different from another site?
Because nobody has the 'official' number, every site watches different traders and updates at different times, and values move every day. If two sites disagree, the truth is usually somewhere in between. Use the value as a starting point and check the demand too.
How often do values change?
We update a value when the market actually moves, usually after a game update or a clear shift in what people are trading for. Every change is dated and listed on the Updates page, so you can see exactly when and why it changed.
Can I trust the trade calculator?
The calculator adds up our values and tells you WIN, FAIR, or LOSE. It's a great gut-check, but it can't know how badly each person wants an item. Use it to spot bad trades fast, then use your own judgement.
