If you are not ready for the quest grind, the Bamboo Rod (760% Luck) sells for 12,000,000 coins in the Ancient Jungle shop, the Angler Rod (530% Luck) sells for 8,000,000 coins on Lost Isle, and the Ares Rod (455% Luck) sells for 3,000,000 coins in Tropical Grove. All three are Mythic rarity and a big step up from anything free.
