Grow a Garden codes for September 2026: what's actually active
As of September 9, 2026, only two Grow a Garden codes work: RDCAward, which gives a free RDC Award cosmetic tied to this week's Roblox Developer Conference, and BEANORLEAVE10, which gives a Green Bean Chamber cosmetic from the Beanstalk Event 2026. A code called FREESEED has been circulating online, but it belongs to the separate sequel Grow a Garden 2, not this game, and redeeming it here will not work.

The two codes that still work
RDCAward and BEANORLEAVE10 are the only Grow a Garden codes that redeem successfully right now. RDCAward gives one RDC Award cosmetic. BEANORLEAVE10 gives one Green Bean Chamber, an interactive cosmetic that lets your character sit inside it dressed as a green bean. Both are checked against the game's own settings menu, not just copied from another list. To redeem either, open Grow a Garden on Roblox, tap the Settings gear in the top left corner, scroll to the Redeem Codes box, type the code exactly as written since codes are case sensitive, and press Claim.

RDCAward ties to this week's Roblox Developer Conference
The RDC in RDCAward stands for the Roblox Developer Conference, and the timing is not a coincidence. RDC 2026 runs September 10 to 12 in San Jose, California, meaning the code went live the day before the conference opens. The official Grow a Garden account on X posted the code directly: "NEW CODE, use code 'RDCAward' for a FREE RDC Award Cosmetic!" That is the code's actual source, a developer tie-in promo for a real event, not a random giveaway.

If a code is tied to a live event like RDC, expect it to disappear once the event wraps. Redeem it now rather than assuming it will still be active next week.
BEANORLEAVE10 comes from the Beanstalk Event
BEANORLEAVE10 is not a standalone giveaway either. It is attached to the Beanstalk Event 2026, which went live at 20:35 UTC on August 29, 2026, about five minutes behind its announced 20:30 UTC start. The event runs on a giving mechanic: every hour, players hand plants with a specific trait to a character called Jack, and the more the community contributes, the higher a beanstalk grows toward a cloud level with its own rewards. A 15 minute cooldown between contributions was added after launch, capping any one player at four submissions an hour. A planned crafting bench section with seven recipes did not ship at launch and remains commented out on the community wiki, so do not go looking for those recipes yet. The Green Bean Chamber that BEANORLEAVE10 unlocks is themed around the event's mascot crop, the Green Bean, which is also obtainable in game as a multi harvest crop.

torigate stopped working, and one tracker still has it wrong
torigate, which used to redeem for a Whispering Torii cosmetic, no longer works. Every list updated in the past two weeks says so: Pocket Gamer, refreshed September 5, and Beebom, refreshed September 1, both drop it from their active tables. One tracker, PCGamesN, still shows torigate as active, but that page was last touched August 29, over a week before the two more recent checks. When trackers disagree, check which one was actually updated most recently rather than trusting whichever loads first.
FREESEED is not a code for this game
FREESEED is real, but it is not a Grow a Garden code. It belongs to Grow a Garden 2, a separate sequel from Splitting Point Studios and Grow Games that launched on Roblox on June 12, 2026 with its own map, seed shop and progress, distinct from the original game this page covers. In Grow a Garden 2, FREESEED reportedly grants three uncommon seed packs, but only after you invite three players to your server, and players there have been reporting the invite count glitching and not registering. TEAMGREENBEAN is the same story: it is a Grow a Garden 2 code for three Green Bean seeds, not a code for the original game. One tracker, RobloxDen, lists TEAMGREENBEAN as an active Grow a Garden code anyway, which is exactly the mix up to watch for: two games with near identical names, and a tracker that did not check which one it was writing about. Our own FAQ guide on this site already spells out the difference between the two games if you want the full breakdown.
If a Grow a Garden code you found requires inviting friends, you are almost certainly reading a Grow a Garden 2 page by mistake. The original game's codes have never had an invite requirement.
How to redeem, and why codes are rare here
The steps do not change: open the Settings gear in game, find Redeem Codes, type the code exactly as shown, and press Claim. Codes are case sensitive, so RDCAward will not work typed as rdcaward. Grow a Garden does not run codes on a schedule. New ones show up tied to specific moments, an event milestone, a developer conference, an anniversary, rather than dropping weekly like some other Roblox games. That is consistent with the game's whole codes history: of the roughly two dozen codes ever issued, almost all are tied to a named event or milestone rather than a routine drop. If a page promises a big weekly codes update for this game, that is not how this game's codes have ever worked.

What is still unknown
Whether RDC week brings a second code once the conference actually starts on September 10 has not been announced either way. Rockstar and Roblox developer conference tie ins for other games have sometimes added a second code partway through past events, so it is worth checking back rather than assuming RDCAward is the only one this week. How long BEANORLEAVE10 stays redeemable is also not stated anywhere official. Event linked codes for this game have historically gone dead within one to three weeks of the event's own end date, but no hard expiry has been published for this one.

What are the active Grow a Garden codes right now?
As of September 9, 2026, only RDCAward (an RDC Award cosmetic) and BEANORLEAVE10 (a Green Bean Chamber cosmetic) work. torigate and every older code have expired.
Is FREESEED a working code in Grow a Garden?
No. FREESEED is a code for Grow a Garden 2, a separate sequel game. It does not redeem anything in the original Grow a Garden, which is what this page and this site's codes list cover.
How do I redeem a code in Grow a Garden?
Open the Settings gear in the top left of the screen, scroll to Redeem Codes, type the code exactly as written, then press Claim. Codes are case sensitive.
Why does Grow a Garden get so few codes?
The game does not run codes on a fixed schedule. New ones tend to appear alongside a specific event, milestone or developer tie in, like RDCAward's link to the Roblox Developer Conference, rather than on a weekly cadence.
