Adopt Me Eggs Guide: Which Egg to Buy
The eggs you can buy right now are the Cracked Egg (350 Bucks), the Pet Egg (600 Bucks) and the Royal Egg (1,450 Bucks). Each hatches a random pet, and a pricier egg gives a better shot at higher rarities. Older eggs like the Safari, Jungle and Farm Egg are retired, which is why their pets trade so high.

Eggs you can buy now
The Cracked Egg (350 Bucks) is the cheapest and mostly gives common and uncommon pets. The Pet Egg (600) improves your odds a little. The Royal Egg (1,450) gives the best chance at a rare, ultra-rare or legendary pet. All three hatch a random pet, so buying the Royal Egg is usually the best value if you can afford it.
Retired eggs are the valuable ones
Eggs from past events, like the Safari Egg, Jungle Egg and Farm Egg, are no longer sold. Because no new ones enter the game, the pets that came from them (Giraffe, Owl, Crow and more) keep climbing in value. You can only get those pets by trading now.
