How to Age Up Pets in Adopt Me
You age up a pet by taking care of it, the same needs that earn you Bucks. Each pet grows through six stages: Newborn, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Post-Teen and Full Grown. Fill your pet's needs over and over to move it up the stages. You need four Full Grown copies to make a Neon.

The six age stages
Every pet starts as a Newborn and grows through Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen and Post-Teen to Full Grown. Each stage takes more tasks than the last, so a pet gets slower to age as it grows up.
Age up faster
Keep the pet equipped and answer every need it shows as fast as you can (food, water, sleep, fun, cleaning, healing). Doing tasks back to back is the quickest way. There is no button to skip stages, so it takes real playtime, especially the last few stages.
