The only codes that actually redeem are single-use codes bundled with physical merchandise from BIG Games' official store, and every code being passed around as a free public code, including five that Roblox Den currently lists as active, has been tested by other trackers and confirmed dead.

There are no free Pet Simulator 99 codes, and there haven't been for months
Every outlet checked for this piece agrees on the core fact: Pet Simulator 99 has no working free promo codes as of September 9, 2026. Beebom's list, last touched September 1, states plainly that none exist to redeem right now. GameRant's testing, dated July 4, 2026, ran actual redemption attempts against codes claimed by YouTubers including Gaming Dan, Powerz and BRIGHT GAMING and found none of them functioned. That is more than two months of the same result across two independently run trackers checking at different times.
One tracker is listing five dead codes as active right now
Roblox Den's page, checked the same day as this piece, September 9, 2026, lists five codes as active: HDVR2X95RS6L for a Huge Axolotl Pet, TitanicFireDragon for a Titanic Fire Dragon, HugeUnicornDragon for a Huge Unicorn Dragon, PFB96CG9472D for a second Huge Axolotl Pet, and pet-d67518012 for a Huge Dog Pet. Every one of those five also appears on Beebom's list, but Beebom marks them expired, not fake: its own explainer is that any merch code found outside your own purchase is already spent, since each one redeems once, for whoever bought the toy it came taped to. That is consistent with these five being real merch codes somebody already used before posting them publicly, not codes BIG Games never issued. Either way, Roblox Den listing them as active is wrong, a one-time code does not work for anyone after its first use. Do not spend time trying HDVR2X95RS6L, TitanicFireDragon, HugeUnicornDragon, PFB96CG9472D or pet-d67518012, none of them redeem again.
The only real codes come taped to a physical toy
BIG Games runs its code system through merchandise, not through the game or social media. A player who buys a Pet Simulator product, a plush or similar, either in a store or through the official BuildIntoGames retail chain, gets a scratch-off tag with a single-use code that redeems once, on one account, for a matching in-game pet or item. BIG Games' own merchandise site hosts a dedicated codes page explaining redemption, at shop.biggames.io/codes. The in-game purchase path has its own restriction too: per the Pet Simulator Wiki, the in-game Merchandise Shop, added July 5, 2025, is limited to buyers 13 and over in the United States, and 18 and over in Texas. To redeem a real merch code: open the Exclusive Shop in game, scroll to the bottom, press the green Redeem button, and type the code exactly as printed on the tag, case sensitive. GameRant's July 4 testing also found redemption only works on desktop, not mobile, as of the game's Update 4.
The one code that might exist has never been found
GameRant's coverage documents a long-running rumor inside the game itself rather than on a tracker: Preston's Shop, reached through a tunnel on the left side of Area 35, prompts visitors for a "Super Secret Code." As of GameRant's July 4, 2026 check, nobody had discovered a code that satisfies that prompt, and nothing found for this piece shows that changing since. Whether a real code exists and simply hasn't leaked, or the prompt has no solution at all, is not established either way.
This is still one of Roblox's biggest games despite having nothing to redeem
Pet Simulator 99 is not a small title running dry on codes because nobody plays it. BloxQuiz's live tracking puts it at roughly 64,000 concurrent players, a 91,000 24-hour peak, and more than 2.5 billion lifetime visits as of this week, good for around 12th among tracked Roblox games. BIG Games has also kept shipping content on a steady cadence without tying any of it to a code: its most recent patch, the Coin Arcade update, went live September 5, 2026 with 12 new pets, five minigames and an hourly Boss Chest, and it launched with no redemption code either.
What is still unknown
BIG Games has not explained on the record why it runs a merch-only code system instead of the free codes most other Roblox titles use, only that its own Discord and X accounts are the source for anything official, and neither has posted a working free code recently. Nobody has confirmed whether Preston's Super Secret Code is solvable at all. No specific merch code has been reported working publicly since GameRant's July 4 check, which is expected given each one is single-use, so there is no outside way to verify the merch system is still functioning correctly.
