Pet Simulator 99 Coin Arcade update: 12 new pets, 5 minigames and an hourly Boss Chest
As of September 5, 2026, Pet Simulator 99's Coin Arcade update lets you station pets in five Arcade zones to earn Arcade Coins even while you are offline, race through minigames for hourly raffle tickets, and crack a private Boss Chest that can pay out Huge, Titanic and Gargantuan pets. The update also adds 12 new Arcade Pets and five Egg Merchants selling progressively rarer eggs.

What BIG Games actually shipped
BIG Games published the Coin Arcade update to Pet Simulator 99 on September 5, 2026, its own 92nd numbered devlog post for the game, on biggames.io. The headline additions are an entire new Arcade World with five zones, 12 new Arcade Pets that grind for you even while you are logged off, five playable minigames that feed an hourly ticket raffle, a private Boss Chest that can drop Huge, Titanic and Gargantuan rarities, and five Egg Merchants selling progressively rarer eggs. Everything below comes from that devlog post directly, cross checked against independent guide coverage, not from a leak or a third party recap.
Station pets in the five Arcade zones and let them work while you are offline
The core loop is stationing pets rather than playing them. Insert an Arcade Pet into any of the five zones, Ring Rally, Prism Point, Cube City, Penta Plaza and Star Stage, and it stays there, wandering the zone and smashing blocks for Arcade Coins. BIG Games is explicit that this keeps running while you are offline, and leveling an Arcade Pet up to level 50 gives it 10x its base power, which is the real lever for how many coins a stationed pet earns per hour. MVP subscribers get a flat bonus on top: plus 5% Arcade Coins, and that bonus applies even while you are offline too.

Five minigames were promised, but BIG Games only named three
The devlog's own header claims five playable minigames, one in every zone, and grants three plays per game every hour. But the post text only names three by name, Flappy Pet, Snake and Block Drop, followed by a bare 'and more' with no further detail. That is a real gap in BIG Games' own patch notes, not an oversight on our part, and we could not find the other two names confirmed anywhere else either. Every run of a minigame pays out Arcade Tickets regardless of which one you play.

The hourly raffle: 500 winners, then 5 much luckier ones
Arcade Tickets feed into the Arcade Raffle, capped at 2,500 tickets per draw. Every hour, 500 players win a Huge Gamer Hamster, and a separate pool of just 5 players wins the rarer Titanic Arcade Bunny. Because the raffle resets hourly and pays out to hundreds of players at once, it is a far more reliable source of a Huge pet than hoping for one out of an egg.

The Boss Chest and the 12 new Arcade Pets
Every player gets their own private Boss Chest. You can station up to 4 pets on the boss stations and push the boss's difficulty level as high as 50, and BIG Games says the chest can pay out Huge, Titanic and even Gargantuan rarities, with a new one spawning every hour. BIG Games' own post names only 3 of the 12 new Arcade Pets directly, RGB Angelus, which it calls the best of the batch, Highlighter Dragon and Gamer Frog. Sportskeeda's coverage of the same patch lists the full roster of 12: RGB Angelus, Highlighter Dragon, Gamer Frog, Arcade Cow, Arcade Bat, Arcade Bunny, Arcade Cat, Arcade Angelus, Ultra Phoenix, Cyberpunk Husky, Cyberpunk Lemur and Gamer Panda. The chase item most players are actually after is the limited Gargantuan RGB Angelus, since Gargantuan sits above Titanic as the game's top rarity tier, roughly three times the size of a Titanic pet and worth billions in gems once traded, according to DungeonPath's own pets ranking.

Egg Merchants, unlocked with the coins you just earned
Five Arcade Merchants are stationed around the new zones. Stand close to one and it auto hatches eggs right at your feet, no manual clicking required, and each merchant in the lineup stocks rarer eggs than the last. BIG Games ties merchant access to the same Arcade Coins the stationed pets and minigames generate, so the update is a closed loop: earn coins passively, spend them to unlock better merchants and zones, then use those zones to earn coins faster.

Where this lands for a game still pulling 64K concurrent players
Pet Simulator 99 is not a niche title getting a quiet patch. BloxQuiz's live tracking has it at roughly 64,000 concurrent players with a 91,000 24 hour peak and more than 2.5 billion lifetime visits as of this update. Coin Arcade is BIG Games' 92nd numbered devlog post for the game, following Lucky Block Blitz at update 91 and Pets vs. Coins at update 86, so this studio is shipping meaningful content on a roughly weekly cadence, and Coin Arcade is a bigger structural addition than either of those two: a whole new world, not just a new event layered onto the old one. If you are chasing the Gargantuan and Titanic pets this update can drop, our Pet Simulator 99 best pets guide breaks down where Gargantuan and the top traded Titanics actually rank.
What is still unknown
BIG Games never named the other two minigames beyond Flappy Pet, Snake and Block Drop, so treat five minigames as confirmed in count but not in full detail. The devlog does not publish the Arcade Coin cost to unlock each of the five zones or each Egg Merchant tier, and it gives no drop odds for pulling a Gargantuan pet specifically from the Boss Chest, only that it is possible. It also does not say whether Coin Arcade is a permanent system, like the main map, or a limited time event that eventually rotates out the way some past Pet Simulator 99 content has. We will update this post once BIG Games clarifies any of that.
