How to Improve Your Aim in Rivals

Better aim in Rivals mostly comes from lowering your sensitivity until you can track targets smoothly, picking a crosshair you can actually see against every map, and practicing with intent against bots in custom games instead of relying on outside aim trainers. Positioning matters just as much, a good angle means you need to flick less to win the fight.

Fix your sensitivity first

A lot of players run their sensitivity too high and never notice, since it feels fast and responsive but makes fine tracking harder. Turn it down, get comfortable landing shots at a lower sensitivity, then raise it gradually only if you feel like you cannot turn fast enough.

Pick a crosshair that works for you

Your crosshair should be easy to see against bright and dark maps alike. If you keep losing track of it mid fight, that is a sign to change color or size before you blame your aim.

Practice with intent

Custom games against hard AI bots let you practice tracking and flicks without the pressure of a real match. Outside aim trainers help less than just playing Rivals itself, since the game's movement and weapon feel are specific to it. Use your whole arm to aim rather than just your wrist, it builds more consistent muscle memory over time.
