Rivals Ranked Mode and Ranks Explained

Ranked mode in Rivals unlocks once you reach level 100 and your Roblox account counts as trusted or verified. From there you play 10 placement duels to get your starting rank, then climb through eight tiers, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Onyx, Nemesis and Archnemesis, the last of which is reserved for the top 200 players in the world.

The rank ladder

From lowest to highest the ranks are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Onyx, Nemesis and Archnemesis. Archnemesis is not a normal tier, it is capped at the top 200 players worldwide, so almost nobody sits there. Gold and Platinum are where most experienced players land, Onyx and above is a small slice of the player base.

Unlocking ranked

You need level 100 on your Rivals account, reached through casual play, plus a trusted or real world verified Roblox account. Once both are true, open Play then Ranked, or interact with the Ranked Hologram in the lobby, to start your first placement duel.

Placement matches and climbing

Your first 10 ranked duels are placement matches that set your starting rank based on how you actually play, not just wins and losses. After that, every match moves your rank up or down, and the amount you gain or lose scales with the rank of the opponent you beat or lost to.

FAQ

What level do you need to play ranked in Rivals?

Level 100, plus a trusted or verified Roblox account. Hitting level 100 alone is not enough if your account is not verified.
